My work is completed on cotton canvas board for paintings in oil & acrylic or thick artist paper for drawings & watercolour

Canvas Board is a thin strong and durable mdf board with a cotton canvas surface, it is flat & can be displayed freely or in a standard frame with removed glass, these pieces are packed securely in a flat box for shipping

Pieces completed on paper are packaged either flat for small work, or rolled in a tube mailer

Commission FAQs

  • By commissioning artwork from the artist, the client agrees to not create any reproductions of the art. The artist retains all copyright ownership for any artwork created & is permitted to reproduce the work.

    The commissioner or public cannot resell, copy, scan, print or reproduce the artwork in any way.

    If the client would like to buy rights or the full copyright, they can request to do so for an additional fee.

    Once contact is established we will discuss your vision and reference images before placing a 50% deposit and starting the artwork

  • I specialize in portraits capturing the beautiful nature of people, pets, and special moments in a handmade, unique and expressive style. Each piece is crafted with love & care to honour the unique personality of the subject.

    I primarily work with pencils, charcoal, acrylics and oils, depending on the commission and customer preferences.

    Custom pieces can be requested for a different canvas size or shape, these changes are subject to an extra fee to accommodate, this will be calculated & discussed before starting

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork.

    Payments can be made by PayPal through your email address or via bank transfer

    Work will not be started until the deposit has been made

    The other half of the deposit will be required before shipping

  • All time frames are estimations and are subject to variability based on complexity

    A standard Acrylic Painting or Drawing portrait may take 1-2 weeks

    An Oil painting may take 2-4 weeks, oils have extended drying times, they can be touch dry in a few weeks & a temporary removable varnish can be applied on request, the pieces can be shipped at the touch dry stage. Oils will be fully dried at 6-12 months & can then be varnished.

    We will discuss timeline of completion based on the complexity and size of your artwork and any custom factors

  • A commissioned piece is one of a kind & handmade, the discussion stage should cover any details required for the piece, work will begin once confirmed and the deposit is made & no changes can be made once begun.

    Once the piece is complete I will send an image of the work, at this stage you are offered only minor adjustments. Significant changes after completion may incur additional costs due to the added time these take.

    The deposit is non refundable. Once the piece is agreed upon or work has been started on it, no major changes can be made, the piece will be completed as originally agreed & reviewed at the end. The artwork will only be shipped upon receiving any outstanding payment.

  • All artwork is carefully packaged with protective materials to ensure it arrives safely.

    Larger pieces are shipped flat or in tubes, depending on the medium and surface.

    The artwork will be shipped after confirmation of its completion & full payment is received

  • At this time UnabledArt cannot provide refunds, the details of the art is discussed prior to starting and customers will be provided a free adjustment to the work before completion

    By purchasing commissioned artwork, you are requesting an artists style and interpretation.
